GRAND NATIONAL MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP

 PONCA CITY QUALIFIERS

The 2009 Grand National Championship in Ponca City, Oklahoma will be presented July 27th through August 1st.

Get your License Application for 2009 sent in NOW in order to claim the number you used in 2008, be sure to fill out the form and mail it with the fee before Jan 1st 2009.  Remember to write in your requested number in the space marked REQUESTED NUMBER (if available) on the license form.

License required. Full year ($40) for those qualifying for Ponca - 1day ($10) for those riding for the day. (CASH ONLY)

ENTRY FEE $35 A CLASS ONLINE OR $40 AT TRACK,  PLUS $10 PER CLASS QUALIFYING FOR PONCA (CASH ONLY)

Riders must race a minimum of two (2) rounds per class and finish in the top 12 overall after all five (5) Texas Regional Qualifiers have finished.  Again..To qualify for the Grand National Finals a rider must participate in the class(s) he enters in at least two of the qualifiers in his region and finish in the top 12 in the classes he wishes to participate in at the Grand National Finals. THE TOP 12 IS DEFINED AS HIS OR HER OVERALL FINISH WITHIN THE REGION BASED ON ALL THE EVENTS FOR YOUR REGION.

ALL AGE CLASSES ARE AS OF JAN 1ST 2009 (proof of age required upon request)

BEGINNER CLASS: RACING 1 YR OR LESS ON ANY SIZE CYCLE

Important Changes and Definitions for 2009

1. The Supermini has been split into two age levels: One for ages up to 13 and one for ages up to 16.  A 13 yr old (or less) may enter both.

2. A 150 Honda (small wheel) is also allowed in the 12-13 minicycle classes.

3. A Women's Pro Class has been added

4. 144 max 2 strokes are allowed in 250 mod classes, Women's and Schoolboy thru 16 non pro.
